And it continues!

What a beautiful friday it was for my team here in Sweden! The moguls were much bigger than elsewhere in the circuit which reminded me a lot of the Quebec conditions. I'm very pleased to have finished on the first step of the podium, and indeed this is the fifth time this season that I share the same podium with Kingsbury (3rd). I remember my debut. Jennifer and Pierre-Alexandre were there to accompany me. It's very much what I'm doing now with Mikaël, Cédric (Rochon) and the other youngers. It's simply amazing to see them improve and be able to witness their development. Next step, duel event, we’ll see whether Mikaël will stay by my side!

Encore sur la route !

Salut,

On the road again!

Hello,

The season continues and let me tell you it was a great duel last weekend at the World Cup in Czech Republic. As always, the young Mikaël (Kingsbury) continues to be a great challenge for me, and I love it. Our runs were really fast and I was told that everyone down at the finish line didn’t know who to give the victory to. It was a demanding course, it was short and although initially the slope is quite strong, it quickly becomes a 10 degrees angle. It's hard to catch up some lost time on a run this short because any little mistake will hurt you. It was really tight with Mikaël because neither he nor I made mistakes. Fortunately, I won but I must say a big thank you to Mikaël for always keeping me on the toes!

Next stop, Sweden in mid-March!

Merci!

Salut!

Thank you!

Hello!

A week ago, I was celebrating my first anniversary of my olympic medal. We organized an event at the Cage aux Sports at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

It was a great opportunity to thank those who have accompanied me along the way and those who continue to do so. I've always said that it’s absolutely impossible to become a champion without being well surrounded, so I thought it was important to put these people in the foreground on this memorable day. Again, thank you to everyone who attended, it was cool to take a break and have the opportunity to see everyone.

Now, the season continues and my next destination is Marianske Lazne in Czech Republic for another World Cup in late February. The team will also be stopping in Sochi to visit the sites of the next Olympic Winter Games. I’ll keep you updated!

Keeping my world champion title!

It was certainly winter in Utah, and so many emotions!

I have been waiting for this ever since the Vancouver games were over, and let me tell you that I was ready. Qualifiers went really well and I ended up finishing first, which gave me the last starting spot for the finals.

The first half of the race was great but I made a mistake on the second jump. When it was time to cross my skis, they got stuck together and I lost some precious time. At least I landed the jump perfectly, even if the maneuver was not perfect. Yes, it was a little unlucky but I'm still happy with what I achieved. I deserved that second place.

On the women's side, did you see what Jenn has accomplished? Wow! what an inspiration this girl is...

Second event, duel.
I was defending my title of world champion ... and I put all my energy to keep it. I did some nice runs all day. For the final round, I was facing Mikaël and he could not complete his race, due to a fall. So in the end, victory feels very good and I’m happy that I’m still the World Champion…

Did I already tell you about Jenn? Well she won the dual as well. Double world champion in the same year!

Ok now, Super Bowl time!

See ya!
